METHODIST CHURCH: Easter Day morning service was led by Rev Fiona Spandler. Members of the congregation brought small posies of spring flowers to adorn the Lenten Cross which had been constructed from the remnants of the Christmas tree. There was no Evening service at Yeadon, but members joined in a “Songs of Praise” service at Guiseley. Lindsay Hurst was speaker at the Women’s Fellowship on Tuesday afternoon and the Knit Knax Club also met. All mid week activities are on holiday this week apart from the shoppers’ coffee morning which will take place tomorrow, Friday. The services on Sunday next will be led by Rev Fiona Spandler and the Annual General Church meeting will follow. There will be a United Circuit Service at Guiseley.
