Guiseley have parted company with assistant manager Chris Holland.
Following the decision last week to appoint Mark Bower as first-team manager, the Lions, in conjunction with Bower, have been considering their options.
This process includes reviewing management structures and, as a result, Holland has stepped down.
Senior players will assist Bower and physio Martin Stringfellow with match preparation and training until a permanent replacement is appointed.
The club have placed on record their gratitude to Holland for his contribution to the success of the club during his time with Guiseley, both as a player and as assistant manager, and wish him all the best for the future.
* Guiseley’s Academy team triumphed 3-1 at Conference Youth Alliance newcomers Chesterfield last Wednesday, despite going a goal behind after 45 seconds.
Redmond Lee and Ben Whitfield put Guiseley ahead with two goals in ten minutes, and the latter then netted from Luke Porritt’s corner in the second half.
