GUISELEY manager Terry Dolan is looking forward to his side's visit to table topping AFC Telford United on Saturday.

The former Bradford City manager said: "This is our biggest test of the season so far but having run them close in our home game (Guiseley lost 1-0 to them in the early day's of Dolan's reign) we have nothing to fear. Hopefully we have improved a bit since them."

Dolan said that he was looking forward to his side playing at a ground where the crowds are averaging over 2,000.

"The atmosphere will be good and with no injury problems apart from Tom Marsden and Marc Smith we are looking to put in a good performance."

Dolan's squad will train at the full size all weather pitch at Hanson School in prepartion for this game.

"It is much bigger than our own all weather pitch and we will be able to concentrate on some team play so we are looking forward to going there," said Dolan.

The manager was pleased with the form of his recent signing James Hanson who notched a hat-trick in the Reserves 4-3 win over Bradford Park Avenue on Tuesday night.

He said: "James is doing well, coming along in the background steadily as he comes to terms with playing at a higher level. He had flu all last week so has not been at his best but he was on top form for the Reserves and it was useful to be able to give him a run out in that game just as it was with the other lads who have sat on the first team subs bench Craig Hall, Paul Collins and Liam Tuck.

"Unfortunately Liam Tuck injured his knee on the slippery surface but he will be out for a while anyway as he has to have a double hernia operation," said Dolan.

Tom Marsden is continuing his recovery from a thigh strain but Marc Smith did not get the good news he expected from the specialist he saw last week.

Instead he was told that his collarbone injury will keep him out of action for another month.

Dolan confirmed that Eccleshill United have asked about taking young striker Danny Forrest for a month. He said that he feels that Forrest will benefit from some first team action.

Former Guiseley boss Neil Parsley has put in seven days notice to talk to left winger Andy Wright with a view to persuading him to sign for North Ferriby.
