GUISELEY'S festive fixture at Farsley Celtic has sadly fallen victim to the weather, with the game called off due to a frozen pitch at The Citadel.
Every other National League North game this weekend is scheduled for Saturday, but this clash between the West Yorkshire rivals was being played tomorrow, on New Year's Day.
Whether the pitch would have thawed out in time for the game to be played a day later is a moot point, but it is a shame, as fans would have been hoping to (virtually) watch another great game between the pair.
They faced off at Nethermoor on Boxing Day, with the game finishing in an exciting 2-2 draw, mainly thanks to the superb efforts of Brad Wade in the Guiseley goal.
