GUISELEY’S joint-manager Marcus Bignot has landed himself a plum new role, as assistant manager of England’s Under-19s.
He was a coach within the U19s set-up already, but has now earned himself a promotion.
The West Midlands native will be working under head coach Ian Foster, while Anthony White has been named goalkeeper coach.
Bignot was juggling roles with Guiseley, England U19s and Aston Villa Women last season.
But he left his role as interim manager of the latter in May, after guiding them to safety on the final day of the Women’s Super League season following a superb 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
