Two City of Bradford team swimmers produced outstanding performances at the prestigious Swim England Winter National Championships.
Rebecca Dunn (Guiseley) and Gina Warrior (Leeds) headed to Ponds Forge, Sheffield to compete and both improved their rankings with Warrior breaking a club record.
Dunn competed in the junior 100m and 200m breaststroke and finished in times of 1.14.88 and 2.44.60 respectively in a very competitive field.
Warrior, who specialises in backstroke, competed in the 50m, 100m and 200m events again in the junior section.
She finished in a time of 30.60 and 2.21.79 in the 50m and 200m events
However, it was her personal best time of 1.05.20 which broke her own club record and secured her highest placing at this meet.
Both swimmers train with Bradford Council’s Leisure Services Aquatic Competition Programme under the guidance of Senior Coach Andy Pearce and Development Coach Sarah Fisher.
