MENSTON Crompark are off the mark in the Mewies Solicitors Craven League.
The newcomers defeated visitors Haworth II by four wickets in Division Three.
Crompark won the toss and put Haworth in, with the Brontelanders recovering from 38-7 to 95 as the wickets were shared between Matt Poucher (3-12), Will Morgan (3-9) and Tom Holder (2-17).
The hosts were in a spot of bother at 19-4 but opener Satnam Thiara (23) and Robert Hodgson (35) put on 53 for the fifth wicket, and Sam Rhodes (15no) and Alistair Adams (12no) then added 27 unbroken.
There was no such joy for Crompark II in Division Four at Silsden II.
Sent in, the visitors could only muster 82, and that was unlikely until No 8 Qasim Hassan made 31, putting on 24 for the last wicket with James Woodthorpe (4no).
Silsden by seven wickets in the 27th over.
