Samantha Knowles of Burley claimed a very respectable fourth placed finish in Sheffield
A SQUAD of City’s open and youth swimmers who all train with Bradford Aquatics Competition Programme travelled to Ponds Forge Sheffield recently and a local individual took centre stage.
Medals were hard to come by for City’s swimmers in the youth events however it was Burley’s Samantha Knowles who claimed a fourth place finish in the 50m backstroke and sixth in the longer 100m event at the North East Region Open and Youth Championships.
Seasoned finalist Alex Dunn, who lives in Guiseley, claimed fifth in the 50m freestyle and eighth in the 100m freestyle.
