MENSTON Crompark have added to Wilsden II’s worrying season in Division Three of the Mewies Solicitors Craven League.
Mid-table Crompark had first use of the ball and dismissed the bottom-of-the-table home side, who won the toss, for 51, with Rob Binley (6-16), Tom Holder (2-24) and Will Morgan (2-11) taking all the wickets.
Opener Satnam Thiara then scored 29 not out as Crompark won by nine wickets in the 18th over.
In Division Four, Crompark’s second XI fell to a sixth defeat in seven matches, going down by 27 runs at home to Glusburn II, who made 181-4, Ali Asghar taking 2-49.
Crompark’s innings was turned around by a seventh-wicket partnership of 71 between skipper Keith Texel (29) and Asghar (42).
But despite 20s from Daniel Biddulph and Rory Southern up the order, the hosts could only finish with 154.
