GUISELEY AFC has announced that Jack Dyche has returned to Nethermoor.
Dyche is hoping that the experience he has gained at a number of clubs since last playing for Guiseley will stand him in good stead in the coming season.
The Lions’ new signing has the ability to play in a number of positions from full-back to winger, in midfield or as a striker.
Leeds-based Dyche, 25, last played for Guiseley in the 2018-19 season joining the club after a one year pro career with Scunthorpe United.
He started out in the Leeds United Academy playing for the Under-18s before continuing his youth career at Scunthorpe prior to signing a pro deal in April 2016.
His time at Scunthorpe included loan spells at Bradford Park Avenue, Ashton United and Boston United. Whilst at Guiseley he had a loan spell at Farsley Celtic.
On leaving Guiseley, Dyche had the first of his two spells with Hyde United and in between sampled life at Ossett United.
Prior to joining Gainsborough for the 2022-23 season, Dyche played for Curzon Ashton.
He is hoping to count on all his experiences with these clubs to help out The Lions as they bid to make their mark in the Pitching In Premier Division.
He said: “I have quite a lot of experience now and I feel that I have learned something from every one of the clubs that I have played at. I hope to use that experience to help my teammates at Guiseley.”
Dyche added: “I really enjoyed my time last time I was at Guiseley and I have known the club for a long time, being a Leeds lad it is local to me.”
Of the season ahead Dyche said: “I am looking forward to getting started and playing in as many games as possible. We will be looking to be at the top end of the table and with the squad the club is assembling that will not be too much of an ask.”
