Both of Menston Crompark's teams fell victim to the weather at the weekend
NEITHER of the Menston Crompark teams in the Mewies Solicitors Craven League saw any action last weekend.
The first XI’s match against Bingley Congs III at Sandy Lane in Division Three was abandoned without a ball being bowled, as was the second XI’s Division Four contest against Long Lee II at High Royds.
This Saturday sees the first XI host Skipton Church Institute CC 2nd XI in the Craven League and the home side will be eager to get some kind of momentum flowing again following their recent defeats and game cancellations.
As for the 2nd XI, they travel to Airedale CC.
