MENSTON Crompark completed a solid first season in the Mewies Solicitors Craven League by finishing third in Division Three.
And they were able to end their campaign on the field by defeating visitors Bingley Congs III, who had forfeited their previous three matches.
Congs chose to field and Crompark made 147, which looked a tall order when they were 33-6.
However, Robert Hodgson (42) and captain Chris Boyes (41) put on 63 for the seventh wicket, and No 9 Will Morgan weighed in with 26 not out.
Not for the first time this season, Rob Binley proved a difficult man to master, taking 6-17, Morgan taking 2-48 as Congs were dismissed for 78.
While Menston Crompark II have found life harder in Division Four, they also finished with a win, defeating bottom-of-the-table Long Lee II by six wickets.
Hosts Long Lee chose to bat and made 124-8, with Ali Asghar (2-47) and Owen Pothecary (2-13) in the wickets.
Second-from-bottom Crompark were in trouble after tea at 25-4 but found the men for the job in opener Phil Newton (37no) and Asghar (53no), who added 101 unbroken to take them to victory in the 29th over.
