Guiseley AFC have taken up the option they had to extend the contract of attacking left-back Reece Kendall.

He'll play for the Lions for the upcoming campaign.

Kendall joined Guiseley from Spennymoor Town last Summer. Spennymoor had paid an undisclosed fee for Kendall to Matlock Town in October 2022.

Kendall’s impressive form during the 2021-22 season, in which he scored a number of vital goals for Matlock, earned him an England C call-up.

Prior to joining Matlock Kendall was on the books of Brighouse Town.

Kendall said: “Guiseley should be going into the season wanting to win the league with the team they are assembling. The club has loads of potential.”

The 24 year-old made 39 appearances striking an impressive 11 goals last season.
