OTLEY are set for a blockbusting start to their 2024-25 National League Two North season.
Three of their first four fixtures are against Yorkshire opponents, including two mouth-watering home derbies.
The Cross Greeners begin at Hull on Saturday, September 7, but then host Leeds Tykes the following Saturday and, just two weeks later, Otley are at home to Wharfedale!
In all, seven rival clubs in Level 4 are from Yorkshire, with the others being Harrogate - another derby for Otley - the Hull duo (Hull and Hull Ionians) and the Sheffield pair (Sheffield and Sheffield Tigers).
And the Yorkshire clashes understandably keep on coming for Otley as they are at Sheffield on October 5, host Sheffield Tigers on November 16, visit Harrogate on November 23 and Hull Ionians on December 14 and have the reverse fixture against Leeds Tykes on December 21.
Otley’s trip to Grassington is on January 18, while the Cross Greeners are at home to Sheffield the following Saturday, and are at Sheffield Tigers on March 15.
Harrogate travel to Cross Green on March 22, and Otley wrap up their campaign at Tynedale on April 5.
Harrogate have been promoted as champions of Regional One North East, but Otley lost a derby when Huddersfield were relegated from National Two North last season.
