OTLEY put themselves firmly in the driving seat for the Premier Division title in the Aire-Wharfe League by completing the double over nearest rivals Collingham & Linton.
The visitors sent Otley in, but must have been regretting that decision when openers Alex Atkinson (70) and Ben Morley (42) put on a ton,
Defending champions Collingham hit back to make it 158-5, but Damon Reeve (28) then added 55 for the sixth wicket with Ollie Halliday (51), and Otley finished on an impressive 275-9.
Collingham’s reply never got off the ground and they were back in the Cross Green pavilion for 75 to lose by 200 runs as Halliday took 3-19, Reeve 2-26, Steve Brown 2-20 and Roby Lane 2-5.
Otley are now 38 points in front of their rivals, but just six points behind Collingham in third are Burley, who won a thriller at relegation-threatened Steeton.
Nick Brook made 60 at the top of Burley’s innings, and skipper Nicky Bulcock (35) and Jason Wright (73no) put on 80 for the fourth wicket in their 240-9.
Steeton’s middle and lower order did well, but they finished on 238-8 to lose by two runs, with Bulcock taking 3-78.
Pool took a leaf out of Otley’s book in dominating the match at Adel, climbing three places to fourth as a result.
Asked to bat, they made 275, with opener Logan Duval contributing 159 off just 113 deliveries, including 24 fours and four sixes.
He put on 130 with skipper Charlie Bell (47) and 56 with Krutik Patel (20).
Adel were then toppled for just 57 in 22.3 overs, with Sam Lawrence bagging 4-24 and Patel 4-7.
Horsforth Hall Park are up one place to sixth after comfortably overhauling visitors North Leeds’ 200, Charles Greatbatch taking 3-49.
Prityank Koli then scored 68 not out, adding 126 for the fourth wicket with the powerful Michael Loubser (77) as Hall Park won by six wickets with 11.5 overs to spare.
Rawdon gave Bilton their first league win of the season after being bowled out for 115, but they are still 45 points above a demotion berth.
Addingham won a rain-affected match at Bolton Villas to move 38 points clear of Beckwithshaw, who lost at New Rover in Division One.
The visitors made 251-6 after being sent in, with Nick Farrell (102) and Ben Brearley (93) putting on 146 for the fourth wicket.
Villas had a rain-reduced target of 227 but were dismissed for 222, with Ricky Palacio taking 3-53 and James Nixon 3-35.
Third-placed Ilkley lost at home to Harden after only making 136, Woodie Luffman (42) and James Raper (29) putting on 71 for the third wicket.
Harden were 63-5 after tea, but won by four wickets in the 40th over.
Guiseley are up to fourth, by-passing hosts Olicanian after beating them by four wickets.
Tom Starkey (46), Tom Smallwood (36) and captain James Hudson (32) were the main contributors to Ollies’ 191, the wickets being shared between Joel Newlove (3-39), Aniket Rana (3-47) and Louis Barker (3-22).
Rana then scored 72 not out, with opener Viraj Bhosale hitting 52 as Guiseley won by four wickets in the 47th over.
Menston, still in the hunt for promotion from Division Two, won by five wickets at Bingley Congs, who were restricted to 163 after being sent in, Sarfaraz Ahmed taking 6-49.
Four scores of over 25 then helped Menston home, headed by 38 from skipper Adam Montague-Miller and Tom Mounsey (33), who put on 66 for the first wicket, JH Johnson (26) and overseas player Zarshad Khan (29) chipping in in the middle order.
Green Lane won a low-scoring contest at home to Horsforth by just eight runs, with Matt Caines taking 4-17 for Horsforth and Neil Britton 5-12 for Lane.
