Guiseley were in FA Cup second qualifying round action at Nethermoor, and they had to fight hard to grind down visiting 1874 Northwich, who play their football two divisions below the Lions.
But former Avenue ace Will Longbottom broke the deadlock with a free-kick on the hour mark, before Jack Emmett grabbed his first home goal for the club.
Longbottom netted again late on to seal a 3-0 win for Guiseley and make it six victories out six in all competitions for Mark Bower’s side.
They achieved their latest victory without full back Reece Kendall, who has left the club after 50 appearances to join Matlock Town for an undisclosed fee.
Guiseley have been drawn at home to Newcastle Town or Scunthorpe United in the next round.
But before then comes the Lions' next Northern Premier League Premier Division game, which is at home to Morpeth Town tomorrow night.
