YARNBURY backed up their opening-day win over Baildon with a rollercoaster 32-32 draw at Bramley Phoenix on Saturday.
The visitors got off to a fine start, as tries from Alexander Lee and Luca Devittoris, the latter converted by Daniel Pound, putting them 12-0 up.
Bramley hit back through Josh Woodhead's score, Liam Morris adding the extras, before Devittoris crossed for another try.
And while Morris hit back with a penalty, Oliver Parton's converted try handed Yarnbury a healthy 24-10 lead at the break.
A Zac Smith try and a Morris penalty reduced the deficit to 24-18, before a chaotic final 10 minutes.
Tony Cowley's converted score edged Bramley in front, only for Pound to land a penalty to put Yarnbury 27-25 ahead.
Cowley's try and Morris' conversion looked to have won the game, only for Devittoris to complete his hat-trick at the death.
That gave Pound a conversion attempt to win it for Yarnbury, but he was unable to find the target, as the game finished all square.
