Dreamwork’s studios latest film ‘The Wild Robot’ has become an instant classic amongst movie lovers, whilst earning 100s of millions of dollars.
Directed by Chris Sanders, the movie follows a Robot who crash lands amongst an island, the robot learns throughout the film how to go against her programming and learns how to have emotions and relationships, especially when she accidentally builds a parental bond with a gosling who the robot later helps train so that the gosling can be apart of the migration.
Despite the film being aimed at a younger audience, there are most definitely deeper meanings throughout which only older audience may understand.
Nevertheless, no matter what age you are it will definitely play at your heartstrings as it focuses on topics such as family, love, loneliness and many more hard-hitting topics.
It consists of a star-studded voice actor cast including Kit Connor, Pedro Pascal, Bill Nighy, Mark Hamill, Lupita Nyong’o and many more.
They all do an excellent job in enhancing their characters personalities, and when put together alongside the wonderful score composed by Kris Bowers, it makes for a beautiful experience.
The film is being rated by some as the best animated film off all time, and I would most certainly have to agree with that opinion – despite the storyline being interesting, the part that makes this film stand out is the actual quality in the animation, in my opinion it is the best animation in a film ever – the colours are vibrant and the action shots are done to perfection.
For me the Wild Robot is a 4.5/5.
