Fans of indie bands and pop music, listen closely, because this 2025 concert is just for you; coming to Leeds in March are three British bands who you may find familiar- if not, then you are in for a treat.

Headlining the event is The Wombats; formed in Liverpool, 2003, The Wombats have sold over 1 million albums around the world with 'A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation' being their first and most sold studio album.

Included in the album is 'Let's Dance to Joy Division', regarded as The Wombats signature song having reached #15 in the UK singles chart (2007-08), the album itself reached #11.

The Wombats are recognised in the indie-rock genre alongside other well-known bands like Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Imagine Dragons.

Performing as one of two supporting acts will be the lesser-known Manchester band, Everything Everything.

Although largely unknown, EE have reached some impressive heights with their 2022 album, 'Raw Data Feel', reaching #4 in the UK album charts.

As far as singles go, they are yet to exceed #37 in the UK where 'Cough Cough' stood in 2012, however, their 2015 track 'Distant Past' made #13 on the Australian Recording Industry Association charts.

Last, but not least, Red Rum Club will also be a supporting act at the concert; this Merseyside group formed in 2016 with all six members having previously played for separate bands.

Their debut album 'Matador', released in 2019, includes their second most streamed song on Spotify, 'Would You Rather Be Lonely'.

In February this year, Red Rum Club released the album 'Western Approaches' which achieved the band's first Top 10, making #8 on the UK charts.

Shortly after the release of their new album in February 2025, The Wombats will be performing in Leeds First Direct Arena, alongside Everything Everything and Red Rum Club.

For all the indie fans out there, this is a great opportunity to see your favourite bands or even discover some hidden gems.
